Local Enterprise Office Galway is happy to announce that additional funding has been approved he Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar TD as part of the July Stimulus Package.
The current Trading Online Voucher Scheme was originally launched in April 2020 in response to Covid-19. It offers support at 90% to qualifying businesses. The new offer also allows previous recipients of the voucher the opportunity to apply for a second voucher. The offer has been largely oversubscribed since April, but funding in place should now be sufficient to meet demand from qualifying businesses to meet the evaluation criteria for the scheme.
The scheme is targeted at driving online trade for businesses and applications are evaluated on criteria to achieve this and other stated goals of the scheme - specifically project suitability, increased turnover, specific Covid 19 response impact to be delivered, export potential, increase in online sales potential and job creation.
All applicants must complete a webinar to qualify for the support and provide evidence that this was completed as part of their application to progress for evaluation for this support. You can book your webinar via our website:
